Stephanie Coker is a media personality and Entrepreneur.
Stephnie holds a degree in Media and Communications from Brunel University. While studying at Brunel , she interned at MTV, Channel Four and Media Moguls PR.
Her media career kicked off in 2010, when she won the MTV Freederm Presenter Competition, which saw her face shown all over the City of London in a TV Advert. That same year, she was commissioned by OHTV, (UK) for her documentary work on young Nigerians called “Christmas in Lagos”.
She picked a new role in 2011, as a presenter for London 360, a Community Channel (UK), magazine-style news show,
After more than two decades in the UK, Stephanie moved back to Nigeria to continued her work in the media. She got her first job with MTV Base Africa as an anchor of the countdown show “Street Request” in 2011.
Since then, she has worked on various projects and shows such as Cool FMs Midday Oasis Show, MTVs Big Friday Show (with Basketmouth), Tinsel on Africa Magic. She co-hosted Guinness Colourful World of more concert, an event scheduled to be anchored by Bow Wow, In 2013.
In 2016 she became the co-host for The Voice, and she still anchors the show IK Osakidiowa.
Currently she hosts Arise TV‘s “The Morning Show” where she talks business, tech and entertainment with the very best in their respective industries.
Her entrepreneurial journey started in 2016 with the launch of KrotchetKulture, a hair and lash extension line.
Stephanie has been nominated and equally received awards for her work in the Nigerian media industry.
In 2014, she was nominated for and later won the Exquisite Lady of the Year (ELOY)’s TV Presenter of the Year.
She was also nominated for the 2014 Nigerian Broadcasters Merit Awards (NBMA) as the Nigerian Broadcaster of the year.
