I might not have food to eat. I may not have cloths to where. I might not have a place to sleep but one thing is sure, my mind is a palace and I will not let anyone with their dirty feet walk through my palace.
The state of mental health is holistic. Mental residence is what takes us through everything. “Being bent but not Broken”. It doesn’t happen in a day. It’s a process. But a few things help us get there faster. One of the most important attributes is Forgiveness. It is the root of a lot of cancerous growth. Forgiveness is for yourself. For your own sanity and not anyone. Forgive yourself. Forgive those that offend you. Forgiveness removes a massive burden that you don’t realise you’re lifting until it’s removed.
Another is asking for help. You are never alone. We ask for help not because we are weak but because we want to remain strong. If you don’t feel like you can go through certain things alone, ask for help.
The third is a Mental Detox. Don’t mean to go all Christian on you guys but look up 2 Timothy 1:7.
A sound mind starts somewhere. Mental illness is caused by the imbalance of neurotransmitter which are brain hormones.

Last but not the least, Everything begins and ends with perception. The moment you say this is too much for you, it becomes too much for you.

So train yourself to see the good in EVERYTHING. Think – feel – act

Here are a few ways to help you cope A little bit more as you keep growing into a better mental state:
-Face the problem
-Define the problem
– Work harder to make it better
-Seek social support. Don’t blame anyone. It takes responsibility away from you.
-Be positive and choose to handle the problems one at a time.
-Accept yourself the way you are
-Make connections with people. Isolation is the beginning of mental stress.
-Live in the present
-Make time for mental serenity. People are so afraid of spending time with theirselves. They are afraid of what they’d find in their mind.
-Commit to the happiness of others. When you focus too much of yourself, you become unhappy but still doesn’t mean you shouldn’t put yourself first
-Make a choice to remain positive all the time.
At the end of the day, you have to be Willing to change to see changes.
