In 2019, Lord’s Dry Gin launched the first edition of the Lord’s Achievers Award, an initiative aimed at recognizing individuals who have made an impeccable impact in their various industries. This year, the brand has selected twelve individuals across the tech, finance, human resource, entertainment industries amongst others. These individuals have performed exceptionally in their sphere of influence. They thrive on passion, consistency and tenacity.

Lord’s Achievers Awards would be honoring five outstanding women, these women are remarkable achievers. Meet the outstanding female honorees of the Lord’s Achievers Awards 2020 Edition;

Ivie TemitayoIbitoye

Ivie is was selected to receive the award in the professional category. Ivie Temitayo- Ibitoye is a renowned HR practitioner with vast experience in strategies to attract, develop and retain talents in various companies. Her career growth in HR has exposed and enabled her to manage both her corporate life as Head Human Resources in Udo Udoma and Belo-Osagie and her entrepreneurial life as the founder of Work In Nigeria. In the course of her work with ‘Work In Nigeria’, Ivie has been instrumental in the recruitment of talents from junior to senior management level positions, as well as, contributing her quota to national development by preparing Nigeria’s talents for the labor market through career advisory initiatives such as CV writing, interview coaching and mentorship. Her ultimate passion shows up in her relentless efforts to make job seekers more employable by providing them with the tools and resources that will increase each candidate’s market value and improve their existing skill set.

Aderenle Sonariwo

Adenrele Sonariwo is the recipient of the Lord’s Dry Gin Art award, in recognition of her passion, consistency and tenacity as the founder of Rele Gallery. Her success can be attributed to the sacrifices she has made and commitment to stimulating an appreciation for the arts among local and international audiences. As an award-winning art curator and entrepreneur, Aderenle has distinguished herself as a thought leader within the industry and a supporter of up and coming artists. The Young Contemporaries initiative, a program run by Rele Gallery platform that gives young artists the tools and resources they need to succeed critically and commercially.

Odunayo Eweniyi

Odunayo Eweniyi is the co-founder & Chief Operations Officer of PiggyVest. She previously co- founded pushcv.com, one of the largest job sites in Africa with the largest database of pre- screened candidates. Odunayo ventured into entrepreneurship at a very young age, co-founding startups almost immediately after her University education. In 2014, Odunayo and her college friend, Somto Ifezue, co-founded PushCV shortly after they reconnected. In 2016, the duo together with Josh Chibueze and two others co-founded PiggyVest, an online savings and investment platform disrupting the finance sector in Nigeria, using technology and enabling users with the tools to manage and grow their finance effectively. In honour of her work, she was named one of 100 most inspiring women in Nigeria 2019 by Leading Ladies Africa and was named one of Forbes Africa 30 under 30 Technology in 2019

Dr. Nini C. Iyizoba

Dr. Nini C. Iyizoba is a Medical doctor, an advocate for women’s health and an Entrepreneur.
From her personal journey, she developed a passion for Empowering and Encouraging those that deal with Fertility Challenges and so she started Dr Nini’s Women’s Health Awareness Foundation. She has held events to help increase Fertility Health Awareness and Endometriosis awareness in Nigeria.She believes in Preventative healthcare and her sole aim is to Inform and Empower people by providing them with Health, Wellness and Medical Information to help them live their best life.

Jola Ayeye

Jola Ayeye is the recipient of the Lord’s Dry Gin Media award. Jola is the co-founder of Salt & Truth TV which is a story-driven production company with a chosen mandate to create rich, authentic, Nigerian stories for a global audience. Their dedication to conveying African narratives in their truest form and in a creative manner has led to Salt & Truth excelling in their sector. By addressing difficult stories about domestic violence, slavery, child abuse and other’s they are contributing to increasing social awareness.

Lords Dry Gin’s vision for the Achievers awards is to inspire, encourage and build a network of empowered citizens who will transform and create opportunities for the younger generation through leadership and enterprise.
