The Miss Kanekalon 2018 grand finale which took place on July 14th, 2018 at Landmark Event Centre was a successful pageantry experience which saw Miss Stephanie Iloabachie emerge as Miss Kanekalon 2018.
Stephanie Iloabachie is a Sociology graduate from Port Harcourt who aspires to be an internationally-known Fashion Designer. She recently applied to attend a fashion school to enable her to fulfil her dream of becoming a successful Fashion Designer in a few years.
Her dream will definitely be coming through as, in addition to her winning the crown as Miss Kanekalon 2018, she got to go home with the sum of 3 Million Naira, an educational financial sponsorship deal worth 1.5 Million Naira, and an Ambassadorship deal with Kanekalon. Her stylist, Bridget Chukwudozie, was also gifted a sum of Seven Hundred Thousand Naira and other amazing prizes for her exceptional hair styling skills.
The First-Runner up, Treasure Obasi, and the Second-Runner up, Laura Mills from Ghana, were not left out as they both took home the sums of 1.5 Million Naira and 1 Million Naira respectively. Danielle Marinze was also recognised as she won the position of Miss Congeniality.
The event was graced with the presence of distinguished guests and celebrities including Frank Oshodi, Bryan Okwara and Kaylah Oniwo, amongst others. Helen Paul and Koffi were the Hosts for the evening and they kept the guests fully entertained. Afro-Pop star, Kizz Daniel was on hand to serenade the guests with great music while Hair Fibre brands, Darling and X-pression displayed creative hairstyles made with their hair fibres.
The Miss Kanekalon Hair and Beauty Pageant is a yearly event. So, if you missed it this year, there will be another one in 2019.
