[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/4″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]We see women hurt each other all the time calling each other names like “Hoe”, “Bitch”, “Slut” and everything under the sun. Then we wonder why men feel comfortable enough doing the same thing.
In a World were feminists judge each other and demean each other, we give way for Misogynist. Why don’t we as women eliminate the unnecessary competition and pettiness? We need to light up a fire under each other to start treating each other with more respect than we have fawningly shown for our traditional male dominators.
Forget the competitiveness and the jealously – the not wanting another woman to do better than you. We are stronger together. Find a woman you have nothing in common with and give her a hug, start a conversation just to get to know another woman. Look around and stop getting lost in yourself. Find more women to support and get them involved in the movement of supporting one another.
Come on Ladies, We are better than this. We have got to have each other’s backs and fight this together. We have to control the way we lash out at each other saying sly comments that really just reflect our own insecurities and lack of belief in ourselves. Let’s stop the image bashing or weight gain remarks. We are more complicit in doing these things than the men we accuse of doing them.
It’s time to get focused on what really matters. Find women that you are different from and discover the things that relate you to each other. Little girls are being born every day, let’s not teach them to be a Regina George. Let’s show them what the power of being a woman really looks like. I know I can do better and I will. Let’s start now.
In the words of one of the greatest black woman to succeed
“We need to reshape our own perception of how we view ourselves. We have to step up as women and take the lead” -Beyonce Knowles Carter
