Procrastination simply defined is the action of delaying or postponing something.
It is one of the worst vices that anybody should ever find his or herself struggling with. There is a huge difference between wanting to do something and actually doing it and it also determines if a person attains the level of success they desire or remain mediocre.
In the words of Benjamin Franklin “Don’t put off until tomorrow what you can do today. For so many, the words ‘I would do it’ are their best friends but this friendship is not the regular kind, it is in fact rather lethal. Our minds are set to believe that we need all the resources we would need to start that business or pursue that passion but the gag is most successful people started out small.
START WITH WHAT YOU HAVE, this, should be your mantra.
People say that their future and how much of a success they want to become weighs really heavy on their hearts, which alone should be your major drive to setting up.
If you have an idea, no matter how small, my advice to you is ‘START NOW!’ because guess what? there are so many other people who are thinking about doing the exact same thing. Why not beat them to it? I have noticed that Bosses or CEOs are saddled with the responsibility of making daily decisions that would either make or mar their organisation.
Now see yourself as a boss and your idea as organisation, what would you do today that would either grow your organisation (idea) or kill it? Think like a BOSS always.
