Tokini Peterside is the Founder of TP-Collective, a communications company providing entrepreneurs in the creative industry in Nigeria and has been actively working to promote Nigerian and African art for years.
TP-Collective builds businesses and brands in the culture and luxury sectors in Africa.
TP-Collective also advises clients in its focus sectors, and has worked with ALARA (the luxury concept store created by Reni Folawiyo and designed by David Adjaye), Maki Oh (an artisanal fashion designer worn by the likes of Michelle Obama and Lupita Nyong’o), and ‘Half of a Yellow Sun’ (the film based on Chimamanda Adichie’s novel, starring Thandie Newton and Chiwetel Ejiofor) amongst others.

She also recently launched ArtXLagos which is still organised by TP-Collective. It is a three-day art exhibition that showcases art from all over Nigeria and Africa. In its second year, ARTXLagos has become a driving force in the black art movement.
