After participating in, and winning, the maiden edition of the M-Net Face of Africa competition in 1998, now called ‘Nokia Face of Africa’, Oluchi went on to have a successful modelling career appearing in American and Italian editorials like Vogue, Marie Claire, Allure, Nylon, and many more.

She has appeared in advertising campaigns for brands like Lancome, Clinique, L’Oreal, and Coca Cola. And has walked the runways of Chanel, Gucci, John Galliano, Dior, Fendi, to mention a few. Even gone on to work for Victoria’s Secrets in prints and walking the Victoria’s Secret runway show for seven consecutive years, and being featured on Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue for four consecutive years.

Despite having an amazing modeling career, Oluchi launched OModel Africa, a modeling agency, in 2008 with offices in Johannesburg and Cape Town to help scout models and give them a good career platform. And in 2013, she executive produced and hosted the reality television show, ‘Africa’s Next Top Model’ (ANTM), which is a platform that gives women the opportunity to compete for a chance to start their modeling career on a global stage.

She has recently added a lingerie company, LuLu Lingerie, to her entrepreneurial portfolio with a new store launch this past weekend at The Palms, Lekki. This Wife, Mother, Supermodel, Icon, Producer, and Entrepreneur is not stopping and we are here for it!
